Tradeasia offers oleic acid, a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid with molecular formula C18H34O2. Colorless transparent liquid appearance. Found naturally in vegetable oils including olive oil, rapeseed oil, and soybean oil. Oleic acid possesses health benefits including heart health promotion, anti-inflammatory properties, and improved insulin sensitivity. Available in multiple purity grades including 75% and 80% minimum purity.

Process Behind Oleic Acid
Oleic acid is typically produced from natural vegetable oils through a series of refining and chemical conversion processes. Oils such as Jatropha oil, olive oil, rapeseed oil, and soybean oil are first prepared as raw materials. These oils undergo controlled hydrolysis to split triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol. The resulting fatty acids are further processed through transesterification and purification stages to obtain oleic acid with the desired purity levels for various industrial applications.
